Basketball Workouts!

Basketball workouts are tougher than most forms of training. The main reason is due to the shear intensity, movement, and conditioning necessary to complete the training. The actual game is fast paced, with high energy, and it's participants must be able to accomodate the games attributes.

With that, the training for a basketball player has to resemble the game. It has to present a challenge that will be endured for periods of time that encompass tremendous intensity and a need for mental toughness.

Why would a player waste his time laying on his back doing a bench press?
Last time I checked, if a player is on his back he either took a charge (GOOD) or he got run over (YIKES). There is no need for a baller to use the bench press. This is just one example of how common mistakes cause thousands of players to make self-inflicted physical mistakes.
